Country Music and Me
It’s not the years, it’s the mileage
“Mr” Paul Adams is a country music artist based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, performing across the UK and beyond. With over 30 years in the music industry and more than a decade immersed in the country scene, he’s been part of the grassroots movement long before it found its wider audience here.
Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, and raised in the UK, Paul has developed what he calls Americanglish Country — a sound that blends authentic American roots with British character, without losing the edge of either. Having spent a lifetime doing his dirt both sides of the fence, it’s not imitation and it’s not reinvention—it’s the natural result of living both sides of the story.
As co-creator of the duo A Little Bit Country in 2011, he helped shape the early days of the modern country scene in the UK, when only a handful of artists were building it from the ground up. Since then, years of live performance, supporting venues, and working alongside other musicians have built a reputation for shows that are honest, engaging, and properly delivered.
A regular face at London’s Lil’ Nashville, and performing across Buckinghamshire, touring further afield in the UK, or taking the music overseas, “Mr” Paul Adams brings real country music to real audiences—no gimmicks required… although the odd one still sneaks in.
